Quiet Time
Can You Hear Him?

How easy it is to get involved in busy work for God and forgetting to spend time with Him to listen to His still small voice. Some days God would have to yell at me in order to be heard even in the midst of my own church work.
When I go to the ocean to see the sun rise, I love the silence and the only sounds of the birds and the waves crashing on shore. Even when life gives me a tough blow where I feel as if I have been punched in my gut, the quietness and beauty of God's handiwork give me a sense of hope, calmness and peace that all is in His care.
Some days my faith and trust see-saw with circumstances but escaping to find Him there always relieves the sense of fear life can bring. God is always with us in the midst of any storm and brings those to encourage us daily in this journey called life!
